Graduation Information

 

Graduating Students...

Students wishing to graduate from BYU must officially apply. Graduation from BYU occurs each year in April, August and December. Although commencement and convocation exercises are not held in December, students in this graduation are invited to attend the following April exercises. To apply for graduation, come into the office of academic advisement in 379 WIDB to pick up the application form. Processing then begins when the application is taken to the ASB cashier with the $15.00 fee.

Note:  December graduates may walk in August convocation prior to the completion of their coursework, or April convocation after their coursework has been completed. Please contact Life Sciences Student Services Center (422-3042) and communicate which commencement and convoaction exercises you prefer.

 

Graduation Application Process

Come into Life Sciences Student Services Office to initiate the process.

-Fill out a graduation application (in the office)

-Two appointments for clearance:

            One with your major’s department- to have major requirements cleared.

            One with Student Services Advisor- to have G.E. requirements cleared.

After having major and general education requirements checked and cleared take the application to the cashier’s office in the Administration Building and pay $15.00 to finish the process and be processed for graduation.
