Landscape management prepares students for employment in design, construction, arboriculture, turf, irrigation, and ornamental horticulture A minor from the Marriott School of Management is strongly recommended. The major also prepares students for a wide variety of graduate school opportunities including landscape architecture, business, science, law, and planning. The program is accredited by the Professional Landcare Network (PLANET)).
HANDS-ON LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES:
Each student is required to complete at least one business-oriented internship as well as a skills developing practicum with BYU Grounds. These experiences are an integral and valuable part of the program. Students are also encouraged to
participate in the Landscape Management Club and attend national professional meetings. Interested students may participate in research projects with faculty mentors.
FINANCING:
Scholarships are available for qualified students from the department, college, and university.
