Steps to Mentoring


 1. Choose the research you are interested in.
 2. Look to see if there is availability and if you have had the pre-requisites required. If none are listed, please contact the professor.
 3. Negotiate course and lab work with the professor.
 4. Register for Mentored Research; otherwise it will not count as that option on your   transcript.  Please note that most sections require professor or departmental approval to register for the course.  After negotiating with the professor, register yourself online according to the professor's preference.

 Prerequisite:  Mentor's consent.

 LFSCI 494R   Mentored Research. (1-6 Credit hours)/ Only for Old Biology majors
 Prerequisite:  Mentor's consent. Needs to write 5-6 pages portfolio which will be graded.
