Biography
I have 20 years of experience as an emergency physician and a passion for improving healthcare through innovation. At Stanford, I co-led one of the first academic-private incubators, where I piloted and validated new healthcare technology and solutions. I have a unique ability to execute private-academic partnerships, improve product validation, and communicate effectively with professionals focused on healthcare, business, and technology.
My expertise is in digital health, artificial intelligence, and product development, as demonstrated by my involvement with various startups, ventures, and organizations as a consultant, advisor, investor, and founder. I was the Inaugural Innovation Fellow with Stanford's Department of Emergency Medicine and also completed a Biodesign Fellowship with Stanford's Byers Center for Biodesign. I completed an MBA from Johns Hopkins University, and pursued executive education in AI in Health Care from MIT Sloan.
I am an Assistant Professor with Stanford's Department of Emergency Medicine, work as an emergency physician with Intermountain Health and as an advisor to Intermountain Ventures, and I am a life science investor with Frame VC. I am interested in leveraging my skills and experience to make a positive impact on healthcare and knowledge translation.
