Background
The College of Life Sciences is committed to supporting women in their scientific pursuits. ‘She is a Scientist’ is an annual gathering to foster learning, growth, and offer support. The event is coordinated by a dedicated group of volunteers from the Life Science Advisory Council (LSAC) with support from the College of Life Science.
‘She is a Scientist’ encourages and promotes experiential learning opportunities for students in the College of Life Sciences by identifying and addressing barriers to the accomplishment of meaningful educational goals.
