Background

The College of Life Sciences is committed to supporting women in their scientific pursuits. ‘She is a Scientist’ is an annual gathering to foster learning, growth, and offer support. The event is coordinated by a dedicated group of volunteers from the Life Science Advisory Council (LSAC) with support from the College of Life Science.

‘She is a Scientist’ encourages and promotes experiential learning opportunities for students in the College of Life Sciences by identifying and addressing barriers to the accomplishment of meaningful educational goals.

Visit the LSAC website for more information about the Life Science Advisory Council.
