Monica grew up in Fort Worth, Texas, as the oldest of 7 kids and served a mission in Sao Paul, Brazil. She and her husband love to play games and video games together and have two kids, with one on the way.
Monica received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from BYU. Before working at Life Sciences Advisement, she worked at International Student & Scholar Services and at Financial Aid & Scholarships. She loves helping students reach their potential and is inspired by the dedication our students have for their education and careers.
One of Monica’s favorite pastimes is reading. She loves that through reading, she can gain different perspectives that she would have never considered otherwise. Monica also loves sports! While college football and basketball are her favorites, she tries to keep tabs on pretty much every major sport. She loves that sports can bring so many different types of people together.
Monica advises Exercise Science (O-Z), those in the Master's in Athletic Training Program (Q-Z), Cell Biology (H-Z), Biophysics (H-Z), and PWS majors (L-Z).
