Monica grew up in Fort Worth, Texas as the oldest of 7 kids and served a mission in Sao Paul, Brazil. She and her husband love to play games and video games together and have a baby boy.
Monica received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees at BYU. Before working at Life Sciences Advisement, she worked at International Student & Scholar Services and at Financial Aid & Scholarships. She loves helping students reach their potential and is inspired by the dedication our students have for their education and careers.
One of Monica’s favorite past times is reading. She loves that through reading, she can gain different perspectives that she would have never considered otherwise. Monica also loves sports! While college football and basketball are her favorites, she tries to keep tabs on pretty much every major sport. She loves that sports can bring so many different types of people together to cheer for the same common team.
Monica advises Exercise Science (Q-Z), those in the Master's in Athletic Training Program (Q-Z), CELL (I-Z), and PWS majors (L-Z).
