New Chair of Health Science
The new chair of the Department of Health Science in the College of Life Sciences is Carl Hanson.
The new chair of the Department of Health Science in the College of Life Sciences is Carl Hanson. For the past six years, Hanson has been director of BYU’s master of public health program and has co-authored numerous publications and presentations in the area of computational health science. Before BYU, he spent 11 years as a professor at Montana State University. He is replacing Michael Barnes, who was recently named as an associate dean in the college.
