Research Interests

I am interested in understanding the changes that occur within skeletal muscle in response to disease, aging and inactivity. I am primarily focused on the processes of muscle protein degradation that lead to muscle atrophy in these conditions.

Teaching Interests

I enjoy teaching human anatomy and physiology with particular interest in their relationships to exercise.
