Research Interests

My research focus is on the neurological circuitry that underlies drug seeking behavior and motivation. I use electrophysiology, microscopy, pharmacological, electrochemical and behavioral techniques to examine the effects of stress on drug seeking behavior. Of particular interest to me are the effects of early life stress on drug seeking and related circuitry.
