Biography
Matt Latey is a life sciences executive with experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical development, clinical research, and global clinical trials. He serves as Chief Executive Officer and Board Director of SciLucent, a drug development consulting firm supporting clinical development, regulatory science, CMC, quality, nonclinical research, toxicology, and medical devices. His career has included leadership roles with PPD, Thermo Fisher Scientific, and Fortrea, as well as work with biotechnology and pharmaceutical organizations across several therapeutic areas.
Matt earned a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Brigham Young University in 1998. Before beginning his education and professional career, he completed missionary service in Portugal.
Matt and his wife, Elizabeth Latey, have been married for nearly 30 years and have four children. Outside of work, he enjoys travel, athletics, community service, and providing guidance about financial stewardship. His service interests include helping individuals and families navigate employment challenges, financial stress, and major life transitions.
