Angela Dayton, MS

Biography

Angela believes that everyone can achieve excellence when people are put first and opportunities are created to benefit all parties.
With more than 20 years of experience as a dynamic leader, Angela has focused on building strategic partnerships with a variety of stakeholders, including employers, academics, trade associations, government agencies, student organizations, foundations, nonprofits, clients, and customers. Through these partnerships, investments have supported the curation and implementation of research-based workforce development programs that have influenced the future of millions of people.
Angela specializes in structuring and managing partnership agreements, including technical, contractual, and financial negotiations. She has also created and delivered a variety of communication materials, conducted due diligence on investments, established strong stakeholder relationships, and developed and executed go-to-market strategies.
Angela has enjoyed coaching and managing teams ranging from 7 to 126 members, both in person and virtually. She has also established cross-functional engagement with more than 260 matrixed academic teams nationwide to shape the vision, strategies, agendas, and execution plans for social-impact programs, communications, and product development.
For more than 20 years, Angela has presented over 100 workshops, keynote speeches, podcasts, and panel discussions to audiences ranging from 10,000 to 30,000 people. Her topics include becoming a value-driven leader and succeeding as an entrepreneur in the gig economy.
