Biography
Dr. Jana Cherrington is an associate instructor in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Arizona. She received a B.S. in Zoology from Brigham Young University and a Ph.D. in Molecular Toxicology from North Carolina State University with an emphasis on developmental toxicology. She worked with Neil Chernoff at the US EPA to identify molecular mechanisms involved in toxicant-induced vertebral column malformations during development. She has taught graduate courses in development and developmental toxicology at the University of Arizona. Jana is the Communication Director for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Southern Arizona. She and Nathan have four children.
