Membership Committee
Purpose
The Membership Committee's main goal is to create a unified and inspired council of members. Its primary efforts are to increase membership through networking and personal connections.
Through a clear application and nomination process, the membership committee approves new members to the LSLC. As well, the Membership Committee helps to define the membership qualifications and responsibilities.
Suggested Membership Responsibilities
- Encouraged donation of $5000 annually to the College Annual Fund
- Meet with students (in person/remotely) during committee summits or as needed
- Attend twice-yearly summits
- Consider serving on a committee
Recruiting process
Informational Flyer
- A recruiting tool that current members may use to introduce someone to the LSLC. If that person shows interest in joining the LSLC, the inviting member will contact the Membership Committee to initiate the recruitment process
Membership Committee Communications
- Email the interested person to confirm their interest in joining the LSLC
- Once interest is confirmed, send that person a welcome email containing additional information about their membership and the LSLC
Membership database
Develop and maintain an online database for members to utilize. This database will house the directory, contact information, and professional details. Members will also have access to update their information to stay current.
